Jun 10th 2009: Joonas Haavisto Trio & Chamber Orchestra at Haapavesi Folk festival on 26th of June. I´m happy that this project continues at Haapavesi Folk 2009. In the same concert in which we play, at the church, you can also hear some fado singing and other interesting artists.

May 21th 2009: Three gigs week coming!!! In next week I play a concert at Malmitalo in Helsinki on Monday, another concert in Rotuse Town Hall in Vilnius on Tuesday and the last gig at Juttutupa in Helsinki on Wednesday. A true fan will come to all of those, but if you can make one of those, it would be great!

At Malmitalo we play originals with Verneri Pohjola, Ville Herrala, Olavi Louhivuori and Erik Lindström. This concert is dedicated to Erik Lindström, who has supported young Finnish jazz musicians by granting their studies at New York. On Tuesdays concert in Vilnius we have an international group which has musicians from Turkey, Lithuania and Finland. The concert will take place in one of the best concert halls in Lithuania, at Rotuse. On Wednesday me and my keyboards are joining Markus Niittynen´s goup at Juttutupa Rytmihäiriö club. With this group we play great music composed by Markus.
