Jun 30th: Joonas will take part for the Summer Session 2010 in Denmark in 8th - 15th of Aug. This unique program for professional jazz musicians has a great team of teachers: Airto Moreira, Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez, Joey Calderazzo, Steve Coleman, Ambrose Akinmusire and Tony Sheer! Jun 30th: Joonas Haavisto will be performing and teaching at the Saulkrasti Jazz Festival in Latvia in 19th - 25th of July. There will be concerts, workshops and jam sessions every day! Jun 15th: Joonas Haavisto Quartet will perform in Narinkkatori in Helsinki on Wednesday 16th of June at 1 pm. They will have in the program songs from the Blue Waters album and some new arrangements of Monk´s compositions. Come to check out!!! Jun 15th: Joonas Haavisto Trio´s debut album Blue Waters has been released in Japan in May. It has also been on sale in iTunes around the world. Apr 21st: On 1st of May Joonas Haavisto Trio with Pori Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra and Mari Palo. Program includes some great jazz standards, some amazing originals and some nostalgic Finnish songs. Welcome!!! Apr 21st: Joonas on the Lauantaijatsit radio show on Basso Radio, 102,8Mhz on Saturday 24th of April at 4pm!! He´ll tell about his new album Blue Waters and some of his favourite recordings.
